GWYN EDWARDS (TABAK) August 29, 1948 - January 24, 2003 On January 24, 2003 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Gwyn passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Gwyn is survived by daughters, Lisa (Lance) Reiter, grandson Ethan of Edmonton and Lori Tabak of Winnipeg. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Megan (Lawrence) Kraushaur of Saskatchewan, Ellie Edwards-Corney of Australia; and brother Reg (Gloria) Edwards of British Columbia; and numerous relatives and friends. Gwyn will be sadly missed by special friends, Carole and Linda who shared a special bond of lasting friendship. She will also be deeply missed by her special companion Jim. Gwyn was predeceased by her parents and infant son. Born on August 29, 1948 in Winnipeg, she lived most of her early years in Cormorant Lake. The family then moved to The Pas. Gwyn moved to Winnipeg and started a career at numerous jobs and formed many friendships. She then realized that her calling was in collections. Her last years of work were at Sinclair Credit where she formed a bond of work related friends. Gwyn you are gone but not forgotten. Lori and Lisa want to say thank you to Linda for all the work and help she has done with taking care of our mom and for being such a good friend. Special thanks for the care Gwyn received at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy.
